Teacher's Day!

met up with prawny to head down back to school to collect Bethany's testimonial from the office and to see if anyone from our batch came back. and also, to see the newly upgraded queenstown.

I guess we were too early, the celebrations were still ongoing when we arrived. And very few people from our '07 batch came. Felicia, Howe Yong, Guorong ,Zacharie & Shao siong. Didn't get to see Keane who was there since 8am!

and i met with some of the '08 batch too. Bee Hong, Wanyi, Lay Fang and all. and of course, Stacey whom i haven't met in a long long time! Pearlyn & Shu Qi were there too!

We didn't stay long this time since not much people from our batch came :(
didn't get to say hi to my juniors too! Syahidah, Nicole Tee, Vijay, Vincent..

and the school buiding changed a lot! take a look at the parade square now. i guess it's not to be called parade square anymore. the multi purpose sports hall is about 3 levels high and the hall seems to be bigger. and and, the staff room for the teacher's. SO UGLY! no more chairs and tables to hang around.

THE COOKIE TIME! i heard from Hoileng that the prefect doing/anouncing the cookie time now do it without passion. In other words, boring. Monotonous voice, no creativity or new catchy lines!

How sad! It used to be so anticipated and looked forward to during morning assemblies!

we were reliving the old secondary school days where we usually hang out apart from tiong bahru. had my island creamery! Loooooooooovely cookies & cream of theirs ok!

Gabriel came down with his pictionary and hung out in macs till Kaiying came and we played pictionary. So noisy there! HAHA! Prawny have to leave for The Proposal. Sweet movie! I'd rate 3/5.

great songs are being played on the radio. just nice, for the perfect cooling weather! but where's my motivation to study? i had it this afternoon! I'm always feeling so lethargic nowadays. i wanna give an excuse to myself, that I'll update tomorrow but this has been on my mind since the other day! haha!

and so, today was kinda interesting. we had a session with our lecturer, and we were the teachers and he, the student. he got us to teach him on how to improve his pronunciations. HAH, i know my pronunciations ain't that good. remember how i pronounced poly?, and the "can you pack this for us?" hahaha! but hey, i did well for oral can! anyway, he changed my impression of me. i guess i respected him more now, due to the fact that he's taking conscious of the words he speaks and making ways on improving himself. i think that's cool.

i yet, took another long bus ride home. i used to enjoy bus rides, and prefer it to the mrt. but goodness! today it took me like almost 2 hours to reach home. no kidding! okay, maybe about one hour and a half ++ !! I'm so not gonna take bus rides that often now. speaking of rides. this reminds me of last Wednesday's incident on my journey home. as usual, i was sleeping on the train, on my favourite seat on the carriage. all i remembered was, waking up to realise that i had been all along sleeping on a guy(almost okay!) or maybe leaning on him! it was a good thing he was also sleeping can! otherwise i'd be so embarrassed!! hahaha!

did debates on that day. goodness, manpower wasn't enough on that day. on tue, ari called me up to tell me that i'm the only one available doing the debates duty! it was such a good thing andy and maria turned up on that day. it was only 4 teams. the team which i didn't really expect to be competing, SEG against SBM. quite intense. but not so yet! i did hosting with maria for the SHS vs SBM and SHS people were really cool! and funny! and one of them was a guy who looked vaguely familiar. i had wanted to ask him if he's from qtss, but didn't cause scared it might be the wrong person. and then, he asked me if i'm from qtss! he's khairul, hashimah's best friend! small world aye!

i drank a lot of water during the debate session, and i really urgently needed the ladies! so off i went. i couldn't find a right time to enter at the right time. so i stayed outside till the SBM team finished. then this chinese looking guy came out with them. and the moment he spoke, i knew that he was a pinoy. i was delighted to know he's a pinoy! cause know i know there's another pinoy apart from maria and i. and maybe we could from a U.F.O. (united filipinos organisation) hahaha! so, i tried to find the right time, and said "hey, you're a pilipino?" whoa! he looked at me for less than a second after muttering a slurred yes and went on to talk to his team mates. goodness. the next round of debate, i was the host for their teams, and he was in it. act lah. he can speak well, with his points driven and all. he's so cocky.


and whoa, it had been ages since i did a lengthy post! i have to ask myself this question again- what am i still doing here, online!!!! ahhh!

i'm gonna be a busy person. next week onwards, it's gonna be a busier week. wednesday is like super packed!

and i've been a good girl :D
