it was so cold this morning when i woke up to get ready for band. i was considered early when i reashed the bus stop, my bus came and the driver didn't open the door cause it was so full. but heopened the exit so passengers could alight, then this lady, i think she was pressed for time, entered the bus through the exit. i wouldn't do that, so i waited for the next bus, which came like 30 minutes later? so i'm not gonna arrive just on time, i was late! pearlyn, shu qi and hoileng wanted to wait for me but i was too late. darn it lah, i was one hour late when i arrived the music room.

mdm wu greeted me with a scolding when she saw me. so typical of her. we went to practice on our marching, and i kind of enjoyed it this time not like before. weird, i never really liked marching, especially under hot scorching sun and your sweat will be trickling down your squinting eyes. after two hours of marching, we got a tummy filling lunch, canadian pizzas! the five of us finished a box if the hawaiian flavoured one. we got back to practising phantom of the opera medley, my favourite :D then shadow, i find it rather boring. mdm wu had to settle some stuff so went for toilet break which lasted quite long, the day soon ended after falling in. i got away from being late, hehe!

and yes! tmrw we're gonna have bbq with the clarinetists and the botaks and our guest of honour is mdm wu sis herself!
can't wait, can't wait!

once again, i didnt really complete my previous post on our clarinetists outing. heehee, my bad. you can visit kaiying though, she got the full details on the fun we had :D

just changed my skin again, i dont know why i chose the previous skin. it was so troublesome getting it right. the codes are messed up.

we agreed to meet at erica's house at 11am yesterday, i thought i was really late arriving there at 12 something, but i was the first one to arrive! alane was actually haven't taken a bath yet when i msged her. haha! so erica and i got bored of reading her huge amounts of magazine and went downstairs to eat lunch. we saw this two really cute kittens, both if them were being playful when we walked over. finished our western lunch of chicken cutlet, we walked to the bus stop to fetch the mercado sisters, we saw them on the bus while we were at the pedestrian crossing.

we walked one round cause we thought they wanted to eat the chicken cutlet we had. it was gonna rain, so we quickly walked back to erica's house. did i mention that erica's house is so nice? too bad she's moving house already this saturday. we finally get started practising on our song for the church anniversary. gosh! we have to get it done soon, it's around the corner already! practising the song was funny cause we were singing off key, especially me! i didn't know how the song sounds like!

after a while erica's mom offered us snacks, a glass of orange juice, hotdog and bread. they teases me and said i took 8 hotdogs but i didn't! after a while, i had to leave, dad was leaving that night and we're gonna send him off. so i can't go with them to changi village to eat that nice delicous chicken they had been talking about this morning. and my legs ached from standing throughout the journey. and i met peiling and lay fang at tiong bahru bus stop, lay fang was telling me about her obs experience. and oh, the obs people are finally back! hopefully can organise a 2C outing or bbq!

and today, went to church. we sat right in front, it was so cold sitting there, the aircon was like coming right at us. but the message was good. but anyways, was feeling bitchy cause my brother is so irritating. lunch was good too, tito kenneth treated us to lunch :D
for the first time in how many months, i attended the afternoon service, it was actually good cause the atmosphere is nicer and the message was good too.

i bought my sister along with me to school to buy books cause today's the only day i'm able to do so and prawny can't. met hafiz at the guard house, both of us couldn't go in, i was wearing slippers while he didn't wear school clothes. in the end hafiz could go in cause his mom came along. rather pressed for time, i wore my sister's small shoes and she wore my slippers to go in. walked all the way to the classroom blocks, met prefects on duty for the marketing thingy. mr.lau bought macs for them, lots of it. didn't have to buy much books, most textbooks were bought already last year. as we walked past the canteen, zach and some prefects saw me and he shouted 'bulldozer' so loud! haha! they were very nice, they offered my sister to take any food she wants but she was too shy.

yesterday was fun! it was our clarinetists outing day. i was exceptionally early yesterday, arrived at tiong at 12 when we were meeting at 12.30. walked around and i couldn't find the limegreen shorts we wanted from tom&stefanie! then kaiying met me at popular while the rest eventually met us at old chang kee. on the way to vivo was crazy! we ran from one end to the other doownstairs at the mrt station.

here we are, going crazy as we laughed and played with the water.

in this year's prefect's retreat, the sports leader joined us, so it's called leader's retreat now. overall, the retreat was fun, despite the miscommunications and misunderstanding, everything was okay in the end.

monday
i wasn't late in meeting beth now, but she's late for her obs meeting. at the guard house there, some couldn't enter the school cause of their dyed hair or not wearing the 'proper' shorts. woah, they became stricter now. and what happened to the friendly malay uncle at the guardhouse? met prawny who was on her way to mdm nur laila's maths lesson, she's gonna be our maths teacher next year, yay! we passed by the obs people, and walked with prawny to class. i didn't know mdm nur laila saw me, as i was walking out of the corridor, she called me. ''shaun shaun!'' everyone was laughing and i didnt know she was calling me. haha! so cute of her, dont know how to pronounce my name, and called me shaun. but then, she gave me a set of maths worksheet to pass to the others and wanted me to put it in her pigeon hole that night. how to? we'll be away at changi and she wanted us to hand in? hah! i heard she's funny in class, she'll go ''water is good for your brain, drink more water'' and then she herself drink her water from her bottle.

anyway, met han sin and jeremy heng at the library who were helping to put others bags in the library. soon the rest came, had the briefings and the games started! played blanket game and captain's ball with our committees, it was very noisy in the library as we shouted the names. and oh! i forgot who got taupok-ed but i was laughing at them, i didnt know they were conspiring to taupok. someone held me arms, and someone pushed me from behind and began taupok me!

woah, i think i got taupok three times! had lunch and committee management in the library, lina was not there and asked me to take over her but she didnt give me details on what to brief on. when the meeting started, i was clueless, so i wasn't so happy about that. oh, suddenly the sec 2s were running out of the library to see the class postings. so we also went downstairs, there were screams of joy and also tears. but i don't see why some of those who go into 3D cry, being in that class doesn't mean it's the end or anything. it was soon time to assemble in the foyer and we were on the bus to aloha changi.

i heard stories that the aloha changi is haunted, but i dismissed it as another rumour. but upon arriving at the place, it looks very ulu ulu. most of sec 3 girls were in room 3, so it's a hurray! then when we inspected the place, we started planning for the night already. who will go with who at night. haha! three or four people in the toilet at the same time.

the rest of the day was mostly planning for the sec one orientation camp. my committee worked together with half of the sports committee for the games. and oh, the ex-cos had planned which class we'll be camp instructors to and who'll will be working with! can't work with russell next year and 'produce' the next champion class as we had planned :( cause he's now a sports leader and in charge of the games only. anyway, i'm in cahrge of 1A and will be together with joni, bryant and shaun. so yeah, we'll work together next year!

just finished 1/3 of the english holiday assignment. still got more to go! and now that the workshop, the retreat and holiday lessons are over, i can go job hunting! these past 3 weeks don't seem like a holiday, coming back to school like almost everyday.


oh ya,my phone is currently in danger of being confiscated, this time my bill really exploded.
so yeah, sorry if i won't be replying to your msgs!

i was so so so excited to go back to school today!
it had been ages since i met up with classmates and of course, the clarinetists and everyone else in band.
i was away in action at the task leadership workshop and the leaders retreat, so yeah it seems like a long time.
rushed out of the house again, met prawny and audrey at dawson bus stop so i accompanied them to buy their tidbits and walked back to school. oh boy, i got so much to tell. we were already late for physics, so the one hour lesson seemed so fast. walked prawny out of the school, and as i was walking to the canteen, i saw three familiar faces.

hahaha! so, i went running to them and hugged them. woah, we act like we never see one another for a very long time although i was away for three days only. hehe!
we talked a lot, and laughed a lot. i still got more to tell!

the band people finally came, had lunch then went for band. we only played out of the shadows, nice but not as nice as phantom of the bra, i mean phantom of the opera medley. oh oh, i think we were rather noisy behind cause kumar pointed out that i was very talkative today. like i said, i got more to tell, especially to kaiying. hehe! i still wanted to play my clarinet, but alas, time for marching.

i can't march, yes i can't. maybe something wrong with my coordination or something so i chose to stand behind zhang wang, so i think im safer from being reprimanded. i dont know why, i was feeling bitchy during the march, i didn't like a someone's attitude who was around me. anyway, finally the marching was over and done with, waited for kaiying and sherlin at the library and walked out of school, met piggy, zacharie and horsey or yit seng. we went crazy again, as usual lah. we were acting as ah lians doing kAwAii stuff, piggy went crazy too and chased me while zach beat me. oh well, couples xD

what a day.
firstly, in the morning i had this stupid stomach cramp. ignored it and went to church and there it worsened. since the rest haven't come yet and feeling cold, walked around the hotel. i think i must have walked around for quite some time.
erica fianlly came, and i decided not to go home afterall. but ahh! halfway through the service, the stupid stomach cramp came again, so had to go home.
took a bus instead of taxi home and headed down to orchard to buy a new wallet, missed my bus, waited for the bus again and finally arrived at my doorstep, happy that i'll soon be in the comfort of my home, easing the pain of stomach cramp with warm water.
but alas! my freaking house keys are at home! and i'm outside!

couldn't tell my parents of my situation, i'll be reprimanded for forgetting my housekeys. didnt know what to do, so i sat on the bench downstairs, met a few of my pri school friends, waved to them and back to thinking what to do next. good thing my aunt asked me to meet her so she could pass me her keys. so i went back all the way to orchard again, bought lunch for her, waited for her, for what seems like ages then she finally came, bought my own lunch, and i was on my way home. i reached my bus stop and alighted the bus, i looked to my left and stepped out onto the road when the coast was clear, but as soon as i stepped onto the empty road, i fell and my hands and knees were on the ground, my bags and its contents were everywhere. ahh! i twisted and sprained my ankle again! this is already like the 3rd time? ahh!

my ankle better well by tomorrow, i wanna enjoy the leaders retreat and have fun.
oh, i haven't pack my bag yet. too bad my dad don't allow me to bring the airbed.
otherwise it'll be more comfy.
woohoo! can't wait!

it was the last day of the task leadership workshop yesterday.
and these past dew days in the workshop was really really GREAT!
too bad we only have three days :(

tuesday
i thought i was late in meeting beth again at the usual place but instead we were actually one hour early cause we thought it was at 8am instead of at 9am! we assembled in the library. we had some games which got us screaming and laughing. then we had to choose a group of people whom you don't really know, how possible is that when you know almost everyone there? it was really random how starfish became a group. maybe thanks to chor hao for separating the two chesters and coming inside the group. anyway, starfish was formed. the two other group were radical and team c. our group consists of chor hao, quennie, keane, russell, mildred, erin, felicia, geraldine, rong sheng, chester woo,musliha.. i dont know how we choose that name, so random i guess? haha! our group cheer was also a bit lame at first, but i like it!

first game we had was..ahh! i dont remember. russell voluntered to be the leader and the leaders were asked to go out of the library while we were asked to be blindfolded and hide anywhere we want in the library. quennie, pig and i hid under the table. after a few minutes rusell and the other leaders came in and the library was super noisy! they were shouting names, when he called mine, he just asked me to get up from the table and stand up. so rather confused. and there was once he asked me to walk to my right and i stepped on yanci, hehe sorry! we were the second group to finish then we all watched jeremy heng's group, he was so funny!

after lunch with our starfish teammates, we had the game of tug of war!! there was 5 rounds, and only 6 people are allowed to play but can take turns. so at first, quennie and the four other guys pulled the rope while rest helped the boost the morale. we were losing to the other teams so in the last round, i let keane take over my role, so it would be 5 guys and quennie. so in the end last round, we won! i think our group were still at storming stage at that time, so it was good progress!

the last game of the game was survival game. i died lah, hehe. but thanks to chor hao, our group was the only one that survived! the workshop ended later than it was supposed to, so i went home, feeling so tired.


wednesday

i woke up having aches all over my body!
and this time, i'm really late in meeting beth at the bus stop. erin called me to hurry up, and on the way up, olivia and weiling joined us too. the start of the day was rather boring, but when the games started, that's where the fun started! oh ya, greraldine joined us today. the first game was.. i forgot the what's it again. but it was fun and tiring too. i think we did more than 200 push ups. the games is about us doing 10 push ups then the someone gets ready to run across the boundary to thrwo the hoop into the something from a distance whiole the rest waits in silence otherwise pints will be deducted. the first group the get the 200 points first wins.
i can say it's really chalenging, it was drizzling when we played and the ground was wet when we did push ups and restrained ourselves not to talk. so ya, im really proud of you guys although we didnt win. and what's more, we were not a soreloser! we were really happy that although we didnt win, we worked together as a team :)
we were so haoppy that we did the starfish cheer at the canteen where the o'level exam was taking place upstairs in th hall. i can imagine the o level candidates, writing their english exam and suddenly go 'huh? starfish?'' after hearing a group of people shout starfish. hehe!

anyway, that game really did create that bond in us. i guess we were at norming stage at that time :) mr.lye scared us when he told us that the next game is 3 hours long and will break our group apart. so after lunch, we found out what the game was about. communication web!
the game is about tranferring a rope into the otherside without touching the mafia string or us touching the chairs, and we were not allowed to take or speak in the library, otherwise we have to get out of the library. we strategise at first, and went about in doing it. we tried it, and we were running back and forth. it was really a tense game, what's more the music was distracting and we couildnt talk. there were a couple of times that rope touched the mafia string and we have to go in and out. but in the end, the team work and hard wrok paid off, and we WON! we were the first one to win! we were so so happy! great job guys :)

there was supposed to be more games but mr.lye dismissed us early to let our group sit down over dinner and have a little chat and get to know one another more. the inital plan was to go to russell's house first but we end goig to tiong's macs instead. we waited so long for the ex=cps to end their meeting. and oh! we sae yunlou and his girlfriend at tiong so we secretly trailed them and took photos! haha. went home with chor hao and keane who has the urge to visit audrey. haha!

thursday

once again i'm late in meeting beth, this time we met russell, and someone else while on the way to the library. i have the feeling of excitement already as i entered the library. can't wait to get tha games started! but sad lah, we're not play games with starfish teammates alreay but with a new group and with the sec 2s. as so anyway, we were asked to find a group which consists of people from different groups. i randomly ran into where yanci, zacharie, kian kiat, olivia and eddie were. but in the end, zacharie and olivia were pulled out and cheryl too. and in came russell, xiwen and musliha and chester seet. and tada! t rex was formed, together with our sec 2s, erny, marcus tham, calvin and nichole! can you believe they were actually called the potatoes? so cute ah they! at first when we played a game which we were to throw a ball into the basket, most of the 3s were doing what they can to keep the group's sporot up. but on of them, acted very.. like no spirit lah. so during reflection time, russell opened up and said that he dont want this to happened and we sec3s told them what visions, and what are our goals in the group. im glad most of them were quite positive.

i forgot what the next game was called again. but i think i was too rowdy, heehee! it was fun also, when the attackers came to our base, i delayed their time and they were in a frenzy. haha! there were times when it was really crazy, we were screaming, especially when piggy came. haha! i think that was when things started to improve :) it started to rain, went back to library. played more and more games. we crawled, stood on a mat and piggy others, played the body parts games. over all, yes it's really fun.

but what i really liked the most was the bond we had with our groups. too bad mr.lye had to leave soon, and then when my t rex took a group a photo, i rushed out of the library to take my phone, but they already took a photo without me :( oh wells, still can have more pictures next week at the leaders retreat.
i really liked the bonding session we had with starfish team mates. we just lie face down on the floor and formed a circle holding hands with one another and sharing our experience together in the past three days workshop. it was really good cause it was honest, open and from the heart. moments like these are to be treasured :)

and then sheena had had something for us, this post it thing you write something positive for someone is meant for the ground leadership students, but since they found enthusisatic students, they let us do it. so it's really nice, you sit there with the music on and you write something nice and positive about others, but not enough time lah. then when it was time to give to the person, it was very fun. haha! running around and pasting post it and people's body. haha! lastly, we helds hands with everyone and just listend to the music but in the end we became crazy and started banging into one another and even taupik people! russell got taupok, quennie got taupok and zacharie too! whoa, good thing they almost taupok me but didnt hehehe!

yes! finally, a day that i'm not late.
woke up at 6.30am and got out of the house only at 7.30am.
the bus came just on time when i arrived at the bus stop, and i unexpectadly met shu qi there when i thought she'll be at the interchange to meet pearlyn.
then we ate at macs when pearlyn and kaiying came afterwards.
we went crazy playing with sauces and the hashbrown!
and we met pearlyn's chinese teacher, dont know her name.

and it was already 9 something when we reach school.

outside the staffroom there, from far, we saw three botak guys running around.

gabriel, jacob and jacksen really did cut their hair botak!

gosh, what a waste of their hair.

in band, when i came in the time was rather fast and soon it was lunchbreak already.

good thing we came fast, just right for kaiying, sherlin and i, three plates of rice and chicken.

there wasn't enough for everyone.

and oh! i forgot to mention that pearlyn shu qi and kaiying gave me a wrapped small present. and i opened it up, it was a butterfly bra strap! hahaha! they also bought for the other clarinetists, including zhen an! hahaha!

after lunchbreak, we played the phantom of the opera medley. cool! it was so nice when we pieced it out together. kaiying and sherlin joined us in band, at one point when we were playing the the phantom of opera part, she was laughing loudly, it made me laugh too. mdm wu was quite grumpy today. after practice, the woodwind played captain's ball while brass were mraching. dont know why but wasnt feeling that well, do we left when ms wong said we can.

went to usual and fave place, tiong! now our food upgraded already. from old chang kee to oyster mee sua! i like it but not the oyster though. fly was irritating us so we quickly ate and went to shop for more bra straps! hahaha! first shop, ice lemon tee, not my type of shop, so went to more than words, we passed by a statue or a dummie and we started doing crazy things. we were noisy but the saleslady just smiled at us. hehe!
