all in all

i like being occupied and busy.
and wednesday was one jam packed day that i did not have in a long time. it was also my first official day at work. no jitters this time on calling numerous people and talking to them on the phone, i got many funny encounters already at my previous job. but this job is harder in a sense that it's harder to keep the person on the other line to keep talking to you and not hang up, which many of them already did. but great thing my boss is really nice. i just hope i won't disappoint her lah.

after work, went to queenstown. i haven't get beth's testimonials for her yet =x but they won't give it to me unless have authorisation letter. should have called, wasted my time going there! then to school. wah! on the way to school it was so bright and sunny and throughout the late afternoon, it was raining cats and dogs! so met the a team people at the booth and did campus road run duty. the shirt was nice if it's wasn't err, too big. but we couldnt start the run cause of the pouring rain and we were standing out in the rain holding out our umbrellas. i felt weird doing that cause i was standing pretty near to the shelter and there i was in the rain under the umbrella.

and we saw everyone ran.
and gave them H20, cheered.
saw familiar faces, as usual i only remember the faces. and when they come running near to us i open my mouth to cheer, but alas! i forget the name! paisey ah!


the music was a blast at the stadium! but had to leave early and couldnt stay for dinner cause aunt living nearby has insisted i come for dinner with them. being a nice person, i of course said yes. haha!

while everyone is studying for their CTs now, i'm trying to get back my love and interest in reading books which i have long lost. started with Potter a week ago. worked! it's been a year or o since i last read Potter and i almost forgot who and what happened. i was such an avid reader of it you know! then i moved on to amy tan's saving fish from drowning. nah, not my type. i'd prefer her other books. borrowed a couple more from the library, opefully i'll get the momentum and get hooked on to reading again.

and i found a new interesting blog to read which i'd put in my category of Good Reads! check out thedancingturtle. obviously i dont know him, and vice versa. i only him through debates in which he participated in and won it. so i got hooked on to his interesting write ups and they're funny! (i sound like i'm those reviewers and advertisers in newspapers or something, haha!)

there's nothing more i want than to meet my cousins! oh, oh so sad! (dramatic? haha!)
can you believe it, my mom said there's this cousin of min, whose name is dolly and she lives in US. and what's funny is that she looks like me, similar behaviour/characteristics.. my sister was laughing and saying it'd be crazy to have another me. and we're of the same age! and i have another cousin who's so cool.

my cousin made me felt guilty with those words, and made me miss her even more. my grand uncle had passed away last week, because of my being busy and not being at home most of the time, i didn't even know that and that mom and sister will be flying back to pinoyland. though i had wanted to go back to pinoyland only 2 years later which is in 2010, there is nothing more i want than to be back there in pinoyland at my granduncle's funeral and see all my loved ones and relatives whom i've not seen and met before. i feel like i'm missing out something! everyone's there, having a family reunion

niwaes! i thought all was well after i went for that job interview at the very cool posh place and i'm where im to work as a waitress. then the guy didn't call me back when i thought all was confirmed! @#$%@#@$%! oh wells, good thing i had another job, though it's only a few hours, but flexible hours (: i'm having half a mind to go back to swensens, vivo. im after the flexible hours. whadya think?

so yesterday and today went to do duty booth for the kick it event. thought i'd be there alone and bored. but good thing people came in and wasn't so bored anymore, especially there was music blasting with the bass very loud. had massive headache again. i didn't wanna go meet dad and brother at gleneagles where they were visiting a friend who just gave birth to baby girl. she was such a cute little baby!

haha, my post is even later than olivia's! but i still blog within one week, still can! i was at the library while waiting for time to pass by and i was having this massive headache. i was thinking of not going out for dinner and stay at home instead to tackle the headache i was having. BUT NVM! i must meet the people! gosh, i didnt realise i haven't met up with gabriel for 2 months!! and so anyway, i was the first to arrive at central. i thought maybe i was hungry that's why i had the headache so i walked around looking for food to fill my tummy but couldn't find anything i like. good thing prawn and olivia came, then no need to buy. prawn lost her voice, sexy manly voice ah!

after some time, jacob came. funny, him! apparently gabriel was using his friend's phone to sms him/olivia and thi jacob called up this number and he jokingly scolded the person thinking it was gabriel. but it was gabriel's friend, haha! then gabriel came after what seems a long time. so hungry, we could smell the strong aroma of the food making us hungrier!

had manhattan fish market. we waited another eternity to have good seats and to dine in. food, not bad. almost similar as fish&co. just that i had too much of the butter garlic sauce, it made me full and too sick of eating the fish&chips.

oh, oh

had to wake up early on a saturday morning, ah! i just remembered that today's the interpoly debates. i had forgotten that i was rather excited on who'll be walking away as champions this year. and oh man, tummy aches early in the morning made me late. so i rushed to school, sweating like mad.

so the semi finals went smoothly..

the semi finals went smoothly.. UNTIL THE FINALS! wth, i screwed up as the host. it's been a while since i went up on stage and be host. i was feeling jittery. then i had everything on my script.. EXCEPT for the motion! gosh, i was reading out from the script nicely till i read out "and the motion for today is..." and i went blank cause the paper was blank. so i looked to my elft at the backstage people, to the audience and to my paper. so dumb la, good thing one of the debaters from TP helped me out and said out the motions on my behalf. heehee.

i'm sure our teams did their best, could see the effort they have put in. but it's sad as well, after these months, doing the inter school and now the inter poly, the event is over. won't have to work with the nyaa people and the watch the debates again.

a week absent from blogging!
let's make it short and sweet,

i've found new jobs, so i've got two jobs in fact! and boy, i like my jobs. just that i can't say anything much for i haven't start working yet. i like the fact that i get to work what i like, with a reasonable pay and with flexible time, and near my house! gonna be busier, two jobs :D i'll be bored no more! went to school quite often this week, and i sit in one of the lectures and lessons with the classmates like as if i'm still with the class! went to an ulu place for a seafood buffet with the clique! and i've got myself hooked on to books once again, hurray! it's been quite a while since i read books, it seems like i almost lost the passion in reading books. so the therapy was just to read harry potter's last book. i haven't read it till now leh! to tihnk i was such an avid fan and reader of it!

and it's funny how people react to the news that i have shifted to another course. it seems like a hoo-ha and after hearing which course, it seems controversial. there were positive, negative, exaggerating and of course funny reactions with regards to the news. i could just laugh and say "it's my choice isn't it?"

i'm still up late into the night, i've got inter-poly debates to host for tomorrow, i'm excited to see who'll walk away as champion. i'm crossing my fingers!

i just landed myself an uber cool job!!!!

"THW legalize bestiality" that was the motion in one of the debates. harhar, the debate turned out hilarious in some parts leading to funny things which seemed nonsensical and absurd to me at times. anyway! did debates duty again. this time, it's interpoly debates.

i had wanted to come to school today a wee bit earlier than of the supposedly time we were to report for the NHLC event so i can go sit in the lectures and see everyone. but i was delayed by my laziness and my disastrous try in cooking chicken soup to which my brother laughed at and labelled it as the rubbish my sister cooked. hah, brothers. nevertheless my soup tasted good okay!

arrived in school just on time, but no on time to see my former classmates. so met shu hui, siew cheng and her friend at mac. then i found time in between to sneak out and go sit in one of the lectures they were having only to be called back a few minutes later. paisey ah! the everyone was waiting for me while i ran the great run from blk Q to blk E.

NHLC event- gosh, so many people at the padang as expected. people from all kinds of schools were there. even queenstownians. i saw VIJAY, syahidah, amanda, charmaine, justin.. and a few others. it was a boring big event which seems to be kinda a little disorganized. BUT! we get to have a movie gift voucher, free yoshinoya meal and milo drinks! we eventually left the place and headed to raffles and bugis instead where melody gave shu hui and i a treat to tom's pallete ice cream. thanks melody! the ice cream they serve comes in a variety of fascinating flavours, haha! should go and have a try at their ice cream there! too bad i didn't bring my camera. pictures another day!

maybe it's some reunion, get together gathering. it'll be fun if everyone from 07 or 06 and also the 08 batches will be going. i remember prom night was fun :D
anyone going for it? i don't mind, only that it's $55 per person but we doubt not many will go for this event.

anyway! it's almost been a month since i've walked out of that recent job of mine, and now i'm still jobless. and i'm still jobsless cause i've been too picky. i so regret turning down that $7.50 per hour job lahhh!! and i called the lady back, apparently the job application is closed already =(

and today i had lots of job offers and interviewers. there was this hilarious interview i had, the interviewer was a jap man and i couldn't make out the words he was saying cause it was like jap-lish, but i just nod and smile instead, trying hard not too laugh. the questions he asked, and the things he said! haha!

so i went jogging with my two buddies into our 'route of death' but it cut shortly cos it looked like it was about to rain!

my family and my pri school clique asked me out.
but instead i went.. babysitting!
hahaha! wasn't in the mood to get out of the house today. and beside, i was hoping they'd call back! GRRR! and so, i was with the toddler who screams when she sees me, jumps on my bed and messes my naturally neat room. but it was fun alright, reminds me of myself when i was of her age. mom said i was worse than her. noisier and more hyper and moves a lot. aiya, i don't know how to translate that word into english, haha!

and yay!
i'm going off for holiday with my family tomorrow (:

okay, the last time i posted something on my little space here on the internet was like last week, and i only came to realise that i haven't been blogging although i've got soooo much free time on my hands. I'VE GOT ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD. which is not a good thing actually, cause i've been having too much of it, i'd prefer having a busy schedule which i used to have.

oh yes, i'm on the look out for jobs. i'm being picky, haha. and goodness me, i hate to say it but i'm regretting turning down a $7.50 per hour job at singtel for a job that pays $1.50 lesser! and now i'm regretting it cause the job at singtel has confirmed on hiring me and i can start work tomorrow itself (can kill my boredom) whereas the job at sgh hasn't called back! GRRR!

i've been out and about this week, other than rotting at home. haha! and i've met quite a few people on the streets; melissa, bee hong, bee hoon, wanyi, jozua, faizal, donald.. and it's funny how i met faizal twice within two days!

and everyone seems to be in high spirits in church today, and erica said it's because her birthday is coming, haha! but not for long, we just heard news that my granduncle is in a critical condition. i hope he gets better. although i'm not that close to him and i haven't seen him since a few years ago, he'll still be that granduncle who tells us of his younger days and of his aspirations when he was a young lad.
