anyway, i was unlucky today. i wore one of my favourite outfits for church and i wore a matching blue pair of shoes. and guess what happened ? because my feet is big, the shoe strap broke. it was not so bad yet, i thought since still got one mroe strap. so we went to suntec city to have lunch. that's where both of my shoe strap totally broke and i had to walk out of the restaurant looking like a poor idiot.

and oh, yes. i broke my so called diet plan. haha, it was sheila's birthday and we ate at the sizzler buffet. i wanted to order a salad bar, but everyone teased me and insisted i order something else. wah, so i ate quite a lot. boo!

we then headed down to vivocity to show our tourists around singapore's biggest mall. it wasn't as big as compared to our mall of asia in philippines, which is the world's 3rd biggest mall. but they were quite impressed with the place. we walked around and sheila and her brother walked into a VCD shop, and bought lots of chinese CDs. it's weird that the young people of my age are crazy over taiwanese, korean and japanese dramas or shows there in philippines. you know, shows like meteor garden, lovers in paris and all those. weird.

anyway, we were supposed to go to sentosa after that. i changed my mind and decided not to go with them cause i suddenly remembered that it's quennie birthday tomorrow, and i only just remembered! ahhh!

i was not in the mood for a movie today. since i had a few hours of sleep last night, i got that familiar headache again!

went for nur laila's lesson. i actually planned to come late, cause i still wanted to sleep some more. but in the end we came right on time. mdm nur laila ordered macs for us as she had promised! but the macs hotline service was horrible and in the end we did not get our breakfast because they were taking a long time to get things done. bad service i say. mdm nur laila was fierce can, she complained and requested to talk to the manager. hah, i would do likewise too.

and so, after studying maths with erin and audrey, i had lunch with prawny and had my tuition. while my teacher was explaining, my eyes felt heavy and i unknowingly closed my eyes. and i guess she she must have noticed it cause i got a few mins break!

i was not the mood for a movie after tuition. i wanted to sleep! i wished i didn't promised my siblings to watch mr.bean's holiday with them. since it would be my second time watching it, i planned to sleep in the cinema. but things didnt go as planned, the tickets were sold out as soon as we reached vivovity. the queue was so long! so we hurried down to tiong bahru, the nearest we can go to. alas, mr.bean's was selling like hot cakes, it was sold out too. my sister insisted on watching mr.beans holiday so i had to persuade her to watch other movies. we finally decided to watch hearty paws, since it looks like a nice kiddy movie.

but it was not a nice movie! cause it made us cry! haha! it felt funny, the three of us were crying. and looking at my brother and sister and myself crying over a movie made me laugh. it was quite loud you know. haha!

the story was quite good, how the sequence flows. but ahh! i hate that mother of theirs and that stupid becky dog. and the little girl shouldn't have died! we thought this movie is a comedy or a heartwarming one only. i forgot that most of the korean movies or dramas are tearjerkers which made my eyes go red.

remember i talked about my mt teacher not long ago?
i had said that she sometimes never fails to surprise us with new things during her lessons.be it inspirational, humourous, or creative, she impresses me with how she can impart her knowledge to us. and today, she impressed me once again and left me standing surprised and not knowing what to do.

after i had said my long awaited line, i heard mr.lau laughed to himself. haha! i thought there won't be cookie since he took the mic and began his talk again. so i was excited to say my line and forgot about being nervous up there. after i had invited mdm rosza to give away the cookies, i was surprised that she walked up to the mic and said all those. not only that lah, she also gave me a big hug.

but now after that line which quennie and i thought of 3 weeks ago, i haven't come up with a new cookie line yet! any ideas anyone?

okay, enough about cookies. ever since the cable tv entered our life, we have replaced the local channels with TFC or otherwise called the filipino channel. i know, cool right? there's actually a channel just for pinoys. haha!

so instead of watching shows like, the arena, the dance floor and other more, we have been glued to our very own shows and dramas. even my dad comes home early just to watch his favourite drama.

so dramas have been part of our life too, we cry, we laugh and go kilig over it. but there's this stupid drama that i hate its plot. the story is something like cinderella. no, it's not about cinderlla eventually marrying her prince and all those about living happily ever after. but about the stepmother making life difficult for her all those horrid stuff. but in case, its the stepmom, step grandmom and step sister. haha, everytime i watch it i feel like pulling their hairs. haha!

and oh, that reminds me of joy.
i scared her with my hair this morning. haha!

i got the flu, sore throat and also a stupid stomach ache!

sucky i got all these on the start of term two, and i'm feeling all grumpy! GRR! and i'm pissed off with that sec one girl! mind your own business will you?!

it looked like it was gonna rain this morning, so no assembly. no assembly, meaning there's no cookie job for me to be done. normal lessons, blah blah. ate the usual food during recess, rushed to class for lessons. then came mt, i didn't realise i slept. haha, then i dreamt that i'm at home! we had indian dance for the assembly programme. kinda interesting, one of them can dance really well. right after assembly was the start of my headache. i wanted so much to rest my throbbing painful head on the comfy bed of mine but i had to like ''cut'' myself into four pieces. haha, i've to attend to four things at the same time.

so had the sports leader meeting, which took a while. ran for english lesson, which i stayed there for about 10mins? then to d&t workshop, and lastly, the alexandra banner making which i'm in charge of. gosh, the young ones i'm working with are very childish.

looking back, kaiying and i were saying how we really enjoyed ourselves in the year 2006. since i did not get the chance to have a summary of year last december, it's time to say why it was great!

in the beginning of the year, i had a feeling that it was going to be a great year. it proved to be right. in the firsth week of school, we had the sec one orientation camp. it was good. the class geraldine, russell, tommy and i were facilitating had won the champion class. hurray for that! ( this year, 1C won too!) it was a surprise, i did not thought that things will go smoothly cause russell and i had a heated argument in front of the class before the camp started. naybe it was a good thing?

february, i couldn't remember much. about we started to have foodtrips after band practice!

and we definetely had fun. we made a din in the restaurant with our laughters!

then i miss mother tongue lessons last year with my favourite mt teacher. her lessons were so interesting, we don't just study from the books. it's more than the books she taught us. we sang, dance, cook up a menu, debate, design clothes.. too bad she isn't my teacher anymore!
now lessons are boring. the class was split into two, and we had a different teacher. lesson are boring now :(

then last year's band camp! we went wild at night, doing the crazy things. shall not elaborate. i wrote such a long post last year!

in july, we had the moe excelfest.

the first day, was mostly duties done. and i can say i enjoyed myself, we sold coffees for a dollar, serving customers. the second day was crazy, crazy! after the band came and played, i danced along with zach, piggy, chor hao and the thai exchange students to the music they were playing!
after that kaiying came over since her sis was in that school. then tada! we went into the room where the other prefects were serving food. and i dont know but we went high and crazy! we were the potatoes as mr luke had said when he caught us laughing so hard.

i didn't really enjoyed myself, but shocking things happened like, asyraf collapsed after he saw a pontianak? other than that, things were okay.

after the camp! they called us the wasabi people cause we were very bright and green!

then came august, we only played for the marching performance for national day, did not have a peformance in the hall. we were to save that performance for the forthcoming 50th anniversary!

18th august, the day we've been anticiapting for, practising for. it was the school 50th anniversary, mr.lau's birthday which he shared with ohers as well, like han sin, anthony..
it was a long day, after one last rehearsal, lydia helped us with our make up, we had our lunch then finally the performance. we were the first item, and most of the people were busy with what they were doing. quite disappointing since we had practised since feb. anyway, i wore the wrong wrong dress that night! i looked like a mother! of all the outifts, it had to be that one! haha! and oh, wah, we took lots of pics!

then after the 50th anniversary, it was the EOYS. then soon, it was the holidays. and during hte holidays, we had the task leadership together with sports leader. it was the best best workshop i have ever attended! i was in the starfish team, though in the beginning we were losing in most of the games, we bonded and won in the end!

and we girls found the place kind of eerie, so at night, we would go to the washroom together! and i didnt know we walked past the old changi hospital on our way to the bus interchange that night!

a week after we had lessons, band prac, and camps, i finally had a job. it was at moe examinatios centre. and i could not wait to leave that job. there was this weird old man called dino who gave me hi number and gave me that kind of look. we prank called him, kaiying pretended to be, and he was like '' i only have eye for you'' gosh, he's freaky.

this was during the church anniversary. look at the spastic face i was having. ate avie said lets make spastic faces mine turned out to be the most spastic. haha!

aunt liberty visited us during the december holidays! God has been good to her, she's a cancer survivor!

he came back to the chalet and everyone was crazy over the fish he caught. not me, i totally abhor fish. the taste, the smell, the sight of it. eww, no thanks will i eat it. thne dad sliced the fish into half, it was still alive, its heart beating. one of my brother's friends poked it with a stick!

during the last night of our christmas camp, we youth people did not sleep, we stayed uo playing monopoly, ate macs and walked around downtown east in the wee hors and came back to the chalet and the six of shared a queensize airbed. in the end, alane and i wre the last one standing, still wide awake. ahaha!

and on my last day of 2006, i had a freaking flu and in bed, what a pity i didn't watch those prettay fireworks!

so that was my 2006. in case you're wondering, why am recalling the past, and talk about 2006? i think i just miss last year. i had so much fun. i had met really great people, knew who my true friends, and really enjoyed and enjoyed myself.

and it's almost four in the morning. i didn't feel like studying just now, that's why. and i've got a freaking sore throat!

oh man, i've got a freaking sore throat. blame that dish of pickles i ate just now. it's so yummy, good for a snack especially at late nights (:

my apologies for the neglect of posts. i was on a short hiatus. things have been bothering my mind and i'm not too keen to let others read my thoughts here. that explains why i privatised the blog for a while then now it's back to normal, acessible to all again. i did some soul searching, and i've decided to stop all this crap im feeling. i won't let emotions take over me again, and no more feeling this and that, no more to feeling less confident that kind of nonsense. i'm going to be myself again!

and i've just changed the skin, took out all the bad links. at least my blog is still active unlike my friendster. it's so dead, testimonials unreturned. can't be bothered much with friendster anymore!

it's such a bore to stay here at home!
i can't watch tv, i can't study, i can't go out.. i can't do anything else cause i'm not allowed to! it's all because of my rotten eye. when i woke up on tuesday morning, my eyes didn't want to open up. and it hurts too, it was like similar to that when i had that contact lens infection two years ago. i had tears flowing down my eyes and i had to wipe it off every now and then. people must have thought i was crying.

it puzzles me how i got serious eye infection again. i'm confused too, one doctor said it's sore eyes, the other said it's eye infection. hmm? it could be both. i thought i was gonna be hospitalised again, but thank goodness, doctor said there wasn't a need.

i miss everyone in school, the last time i saw everyone must have been last tuesday when i left school early. and i missed yesterdays jogathon! hopefully, i'll be back in school again by tomorrow!

i woke up reluctantly this morning. it's so nice to sleep in some more especially when the weather is so nice. i arrived at the bus stop just in time before prawny and beth came. when our bus came, guess who we met on the bus? my pinoy friend of course, quennie. we were all late for mdm nur laila's lesson.

after the maths lesson, we went to tiong together with musliha, huimin, audrey,joy and quennie while prawny and beth have geog lesson. that's why we did not have ss today. ate brunch at macs, and bought erin's french fries and iced milo which turned soggy and melted by the time we reach school =x

we stayed in school for a while, and left around 1 or 2pm. we were planning to climb over the gates if the school gate is locked but it wasn't! beth had to go for piano lesson while erin went off somewhere. and prawny and i made a wrong decision to go to orchard's popular to get our assessment books & tys! we ended up going back to tion's popular lah. but then at least we tasted the beef noodle prawny recommended.

and yay! i got the books i wanted after so long. so now i'm gonna go work on them. bye!
