I am so busy, like a busy bee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was feeling negative and no confidence for the whole thingy.
But today, after a setback, i am happy that i am more confident after the new idea to the whole plan.

Bad thing: I am losing sleep over the proposal, sleeping at unearthly hours and having classes at 9am. Which sucks because i have a sucky timetable. Sucks also, because i end up sleeping in lectures, and sometimes during lab lessons also. Eeks!

and my health. my brother said i will die earlier because i keep sleeping late. Booooo! Which is true actually. Studies has shown. AHH!


2nd bad thing, i gave up the job of doing the transcriptions. Goodbye $200 :( :(

i think i am gonna lose weight. during attachment, i ate only lunch and dinner. No rice too. And now school new semester just begun, and i've not been eating well.

It's been quite a while since i watched more than 1 movie in a day. I still remember in 2006, we used to watch movies everyday!

A great start to a busy week! :(
We had lunch at Astons, perfect timing we had, we came before the crowd came. Watched Haeundae in Cathay Cine's cinema which was super cold, we were freezing! In case you were wondering, The Tsunami was not a lamemovie. (We overheard two girls talking about it, saying it was lame) Though the first part was not exciting, there were hilarious parts too. and the movie was so sad ='/ I couldn't help but had my tears rolling down!

While it was super cold in the cinema, i forgot to zip my bag close and it was a good thing Kaiying heard my keys dropped to the floor otherwise i would have lost my keys and my handphone which was underneath my dark chair!

Headed down to Cathay at Orchard and watched Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs. This movie got me hungry! After movie, headed down to Bugis and ate at Pastamania and off to Tom's Pallette!! Loved the Granny' Favourite and the Ed's tea!

and i feel bad for not blogging about my 20th Birthday this year, Dad's Birthday, Trip to Philippines last January and maybe Outings with friends. I haven't really thank people yet for my this year's birthday, Especially my this year's class NR0913, and to some really cool people. If i haven't pushed myself to blog after being hospitalised, i would not have been able to give a proper thank you.

so maybe i would do another mass update and update on random happenings which i have not posted before.

and i almost forgot!
it was Nurses Day yesterday.

years ago, i could not see myself as a nurse. and here i am! standing tall and proud that i did not ever regret the switch to Nursing!

OMG,
so unexpected. when i was looking for a job in December and in January, i didn't have one (if you count the haagen dazs out, hah!) and now, after i came back from pinoyland, it was instant!

i had the survey job, and now they gave me the data entry job.
very unexpected and untimely.

can you imagine, over the past week, i have been sleeping at dawn and sleeping the whole day away and on Tuesday, i woke up late and realised i had the hand in the surveys i was doing. my boss called the night before and asked me if i'd liked to help them out in daya entry in a 9 to 5 job. i thought, nah i'll think about it, there's so much chores to do at home. blah, i came there and had to work instantly.

AND TODAY, man.
i woke up at 9am!!!!!!!

i rushed, and hailed a cab. goodness, thankfully i got a cab, last sunday it took ages and miles to look for a cab yet we ended up taking bus cause all the cabs were all taken.

and when i finally got in, i thought fine, i am saved. but when we went to the expressway, it was traffick!!! so off we went to the longer route which cost me $19.45!

and data entry is so boring cos the office is so cold, it's freezing me to death.

I'M BACK!
back from pinoyland (since a week ago) and i'm finally back to salvage my abandoned dead blog.

i've been so dead, slow.
ever since i came back fom the busy but fun trip to pinoyland, I'VE BEEN DEAD.

as in well, not that meaning of dead of course. as in no life lah.

when i came back, i only kept in touch with one close friend with one sms only and other than that i've not been replying walls on facebook/emails and i've been rotting at home most of the time.

SO NO LIFE LAH!

and omg, i can't believe Shu Qi will be leaving for Australia so so soon! this calls for a clarinetists outing!

the big move

i think i'm going to fall sick soon one of these days.

i should really be sleeping now. i'd been losing sleep to read Stephenie Meyer's series of books which had made me crazily obsessed with the book, the characters and edward cullen. crazy like i was over Blue and Brit actors/singers when i was a young tween then. it was crazy, i bought expensive magazines just so i could stay updated with the latest juice about the stars i've been a fan of!

so i've been reading twilight, which means to say i'm far behind everyone who had heard about it, watch it and who had read it over and over again. i remember wondering who is edward cullen to whom shuling and peiyu claim to be his wife. HAHA! thanks to erica who had recommended me the book, i was glued to it and in a few days i finished and read it again! and i've continued on to reading new moon, and eclipse. i'd say both sucks, literally. (i feel like kicking Bella's butt at some point of the time) waste my sleepless nights reading them when i could be in wonderland.

i'd say the movie sucks too. i watched a few trailers of the movie and comparing it to the book and the casts that portayed them.. nah, it isn't up to standard. like some of the scenes are the stupid, it's different cos they edit and cut away scenes. boo! i'd prefer the characters in the book and the story to remain in my imagination,though i'd consider watching it in the theatres.

ANYWAY, before i do really start sounding like a book or movie reviewer,

i'm moving out of an area/community where i've lived most of my life in Singapore! Goodbye Telok Blangah, Hello Bukit Panjang!

it's gonna be a big move, cause it's a big new place for us, and it's farrrrrrrr from almost everywhere. Telok Blangah is like super convenient to everywhere i want to go to. And most of the places i've worked at is just nearby, much to the envy of someone, heehee. it's just a few rides away from, say, Vivocity, Sentosa, Orchard, Queenstown.. i'm definetely gonna miss the very good view we get of the fireworks from Sentosa/Vivocity during the New Year count down! and of course, the nature trail, the hortpark and mount faber!

oh wells! but i like our new home, and our environment! i just have to get used to hopping on to trains/LRTs instead of buses which i take so often. and i like to sleep on buses which isn't so easy to do on MRT.

and it makes feel bad and sad that i have to sit out for all the happenings that i should be going to.

and wow, it surprises me how much i've typed so far and how wide awake i am now as i'm typing this. must be because i miss everyone after not being online for 2 days. (We camped at the new house, and there was no internet connection there yet!!!!)

after days of searching job agencies online, and looking through newspaper ads..

i finally got a job again!

it's at a call centre, so i'm sort of doing telemarketing. thank God i'm not doing sales over the phone. trying to convince customers for something seems fruitless, i only managed to convince two today! i'm targetting to convince at least 5 customers tomorrow! 2 is pathetic :[ but okay lah, since it was my first day!

and on my first day of work, i had talked to nice people, irritated people, those high positions/ ranking in the company people (can tell leh!) and of course, talked to people of another race. but the challenging thing is that, some people don't know how to speak english. being a pilipino, we have the advantage of being able to learn other languages and be able to pick it up quite easily )yes, no?) and today, i tried to speak, chinese, in my very best! i soort of learnt chinese by picking up words in drama series on tv, but don't really speak it out. and when the customers talked to me, i could understand that they were saying they dont quite understand me! oh, someone please teach me chinese!

and i had one rather cute conversation before i knocked off for the day. i was calling this korean household, and the mother don't know english so the young son picks up and translates what i say to his mom. towatds the end of the conversation, i was asking him what typ of Fin type his mum is, if it i under Q1, Q2, P1, P2..

me: okay, so can you ask your mummy if she is under Q1, Q2, P1,P2 ( Fin type) ?
young boy: oh, i'm p3, my brother is p4. but my mummy is not p1, p2

.hahaha! although it's a little dumb, but he made me wanna laugh out loud when he said that! hr sounds like a cute innocent korean boys i see on tvs! listening to him talk to his mum in korean makes me wanna watch princess hours again, haha!

but then, although admin work and call centre jobs pays more than in f&b, i'd still prefer to work in f&b places. it's definetely better to walk around and take orders rather than sit down in a room with yout legs stiff from sitting down.

hello.
i'm being a stubborn insomniac again.
i've been surviving on a few hours of sleep in a day.and then stealing sleep here and there.
badddd.

i've pictures of my camp.
it was fun alright.
here's a summary of it, i'm lazy.

first day:

-arrived in school for camp, only to realise i forgot to bring my shampoo and facial wash!
-played ice breaker games
-had night walk where everyone else have to put tapes on their mouths because theyre not allowed to talk, and only to assigned leaders are allowed to talk throughout the night walk so as to assist in decision making and in leading the whole group. seniors were all in serious tones. and OMG, RANDY AND I WAS THE CHOSEN LEADER FOR THIS. it was pressurising because i panic (though yes, nothing to panic about) it was a test of our leadership skills. omg, i didn't like it!
-luckily for the next game, the leaders were changed!
-we played some spiderweb game on the bridge and we had to some sort of lie down and crawl our way put. had to analyse how are we going to get the blind, the injured, and the dead across.
- WE FINISHED OUR "GAMES" for the night at 2.30am
-almost want to thon the night away. went to the stadium with lisa and maria and i fell asleep while gazing at the starless sky. it was kinda beautiful there actually.
-slept at 4.30am

2nd day:

-woke up early, at 8am! had PT and it was one of us the slackest BUT funest i've had.
-played games, HOT and WET games. like having kaya on your back and chilli padi on your lips while kissing someone.
-performance night, laughed our asses off at the miss AT guys who dressed up. some danced the night away.
- talked about spooky stories and i got spooked myself, haha!
-slept at 3am.

3rd day:

-PT, we played captain's ball, and something terrible happened, tingting fell from the chair she stood on and the impact of her fall was kinda great such that there were lots of blood oozing out of her head. she rushed to the hospital. hope she's fine now!
-played some more games, though lesser energy
-before break camp, we got closing ceremony.
-my group-SHINE won 1st !!
