i was a good girl on the few days that i worked, i wasn't late. yet on my last day i thought i was late, so i took a cab. wasted my money cause i was one of the earliest. haha!

i was the runner on my last two days of work. how great and not so great. i love and hate being a runner. i love being a runner because you're not tied to a station and you don't necessarily have to clear or set tables. and! you got to deliver all the nice food, ice cream and beverages! what's not great about being a runner is when the food, ice cream and beverages all come at the same time. and when you have a full tray of coffee or tea and sodas and milkshakes to deliver. uh, so hate that!

for example, today 3 guests ordered the lime soda and the blueberry soda. it's like in a thin and long soda glass, very unstable and still got ice cream and whip cream hung at the tip of the glass (if you know what i mean). so i was trying my best to carry all three sodas and a coffee to the table. after one soda was delivered, tada! the soda with ice cream, whip cream was on my uniform! haha! good thing fountain didn't mind.

but i still like being a runner :D

i think kwang li and i was the only one to do the sweeping and mopping apart from our new supervisors on the floor that day. so i swept 2/3 of the floor in the outlet and i mopped it too! it was so dirty, i could even guess what ice cream stain there is on the floor! haha, okay im exaggerating! then in the late afternoon, an hour before i knock off work, it started raining heavily! sentosa can't be seen!

as my souvenirs, i took the order papers from the fountain and kitchen which has my name :D

last day of work!
must take advantage, so i asked the new supervisor to give me a little bit more ice cream and hot fudge topping. i got it! talked to him, and found out that he won't be staying there for long. he found another job. which is sad, cause he's a nice guy to work with. he used to be a manager at another restaurant eh!

while i was talking to him, ma'am glenn asked me from afar what drink i'd want. IT'S ON THE HOUSE! woohoo, happy okay. although it's only a drink! took a long time to decide what's good. everyone recommended cookie monster. so i had cookie monster. and yes, it tasted good although i thought it's something like sweet talk's oreo crush. it's much much nicer!

ma'am glenn said she'll welcome me back if ever i decide to come back and work again!

ma'am ivy, the supervisor whom i had wrong impressions was actually a nice person. i had thought she's bitchy or fierce! after i got scolded by that customer, she helped me pacify the customer and explain things to her. aiya, she's just nice lah. haha!

goodbye earle's swensens!

it had been a long time ago that i thought of quitting. i think i have thought of it all the time. haha! then the almost serious ones were that time after i got reprimanded by a customer, and after that day in which i made so many mistakes and lost my uniform!

then since most of my friends were quitting or stopping work for a while, i decided to do almost the same. but i told the manager 'i won't be working anymore'. i didn't really give it a good thought before giving him the message, because my file has been closed officially already! i kinda regret it, cause it'll be good to come back during holidays and work.. and i loved the place! nice interiors and you'll feel good working there!

whenever i think back of my swensens days, i'll laugh to myself. there has been so many stupid and funny incidents that i can think of. there was a time i forgot my pants and after i got it, i quickly changed in the ladies only to my horror that i didn't close the door in a rush that i was! i was in my panties okay! haha!

my encounters with customers were also interesting, funny and stupid. there was this customer, asked for a slice of cake since it was her birthday so i gave her one after taking her IC. i was kinda busy and i only realised i forgot to return her IC a few hours after she left!!

there were a lot more crazy things i can think of. i'm gonna miss working there, and the people.
